The process, start to finish
Furniture Consignment Made Simple
Seven steps from the photo you send us to the payment you receive. No surprises in the middle.
Submit
Send photos before bringing large pieces to the showroom.
Approval
We’ll determine whether the furniture is a good fit for our customers and current inventory.
Pricing
We’ll establish an appropriate starting price based on the item and the current resale market.
Agreement
You’ll sign a written consignment agreement outlining the selling period, commission, markdowns, payouts and unsold-item policy.
Display & marketing
We’ll prepare your item for sale through our showroom and marketing channels.
Sale
When your furniture sells and payment is final, we’ll process your consignor payment according to the agreement.
Unsold items
At the end of the consignment period, unsold furniture must be picked up or handled according to the options outlined in your consignment agreement.
The terms at a glance
What you agree to
Everything below is subject to your signed consignment agreement, which is the document that governs.
| Standard terms | |
|---|---|
| Your share | 50% of the final selling price |
| Our share | 50% — covers showroom space, staffing, marketing, photography, customer service and payment processing |
| Consignment period | Generally 90 days |
| Markdowns | Prices may be reduced per the markdown terms in your agreement, to encourage a sale within the period |
| If it doesn’t sell | Unsold merchandise must be picked up or handled per your signed agreement |
| Do you buy outright? | No — our model is consignment rather than purchasing furniture outright |
Who consigns with us
Not just households
Downsizing & estates
Moving to something smaller, or clearing a family home. Often the largest single group of pieces we take in.
Designers & stagers
We welcome designers, builders, model-home companies, Realtors, staging companies and businesses with quality furniture or décor.
Movers & remodelers
Mid-move or mid-remodel, with pieces that will not fit the next place. Our crews can collect them.
Do I need an appointment?
We recommend contacting us and submitting photos before bringing larger furniture items to the showroom. It saves you loading something we may not be able to take, and it lets us tell you what we think it will sell for before you commit.

Ready to send us a photo?
It takes two minutes and there is no obligation. We will tell you honestly whether it is a fit.
